About Us
We were founded as a sensing company in 1984 with the goal of giving machines the ability to sense manufacturing processes in real time and automatically make decisions based on the data. In pursuit of that goal Promess has become the industry leader in engineering highly adaptive systems based on force, torque and position measurement technologies.
