PPM - Promess Panel Meter Monitoring System for Manufacturing

The Promess Panel Meter (PPM) was introduced as a very powerful, single station, low cost assembly monitoring system. This original, state-of-the-art signature monitoring technology is used in those assembly processes where the full power of our more advanced "PRO" monitoring systems exceeds the demands of your application.

Using a "taught-in" master as the standard for acceptance, the PPM monitors, in real-time, both the force and position sensors mounted on the machine to measure the key attributes of each assembly produced. As they are measured, these attributes are analyzed and then compared to those of the "taught master". Within microseconds, the PPM completes its comparative analysis of these attributes, determines the status of the assembly, sends a pass / fail output and flags any attribute identified as "different" from those of the "taught master".

The PPM provides full signature monitoring, definable monitoring windows, adjustable limits defined by the user, the ability to focus on critical portions of the cycle, as well as the ability to monitor depth of press. Utilizing different types of sensors, the system also has the unique capability to monitor a variety of additional processes, some of which include: torque, pressure, and rate of flow: air or fluid.
